BUGGS FLAWS

Candid London indie-pop outfit Buggs have dropped a brutally honest track today in 'Flaws'. Out via Sad Club Records, the somewhat woozy instrumentation supports singer/songwriter Alice Western's solid vocal melodies and earnest delivery style as she shares some of the more unhealthy aspects of introspection. She explains: “I wrote Flaws about spending too much time chipping away at yourself in the mirror - obsessing over all of your faults and insecurities, thinking back over and over over things you’ve done or said, and becoming paranoid that your friends and family think you’re a bad person. Flaws is about my favourite activity during lockdown - self loathing.” Hoping to provide a comfort to others by putting their own feelings out there, 'Flaws' is a brave and inspiring offering from Buggs. -Holly Mullineaux
